Combating Stress #4 - Movie Time

Now movies aren't just for the holidays and girls nights in! Watching your favourite movie can be really good stress relief. If people ask you if you are just procrastinating and can tell them that you are taking time out to de-stress and focus on improving your well-being.
My favourite movies are Disney films and all time favourite - well that is by far 101 & 102 Dalmations. I watch them both quite frequently, they never get old and I know most of the lines of by heart.

Here are just some of my beloved classic Disney films (and a few others)


Snuggled up on the couch with a cosy blanket, some food and a good movie.


I decided to watch Tangled. I forgot how much I love this movie and that I basicallyknow all the words to the songs. It is funny and the beautiful scenes distract myself from stressors, while I take time out to improve my health. Usually my stress symptoms come in the form of emotional and behavioural; procrastinating, nervous habits, isolation, eating more or less, over and under sleeping, feeling overwhelmed, irritability, mood swings. 







So next time you are feeling stressed try watching a movie you know you will love!
